I’m kinda like Mrs. Ward and don’t really like being busy in the summer! My husband Sean and I just celebrated our 19th Anniversary!! Our daughter Makyla is attending TTCU for Nursing and Kaden will be a Jr at Claremore High School. This will be my 8th year at Catalayah! I taught for 10 years at Union Public Schools in Tulsa. Then I stayed home with my twins for 4 years. I have been in Claremore Public Schools for 15 years. I was at Roosa for 11 years and just finished my 4th year at Catalayah!! I love teaching my littles and watching them grow!! I have 19 year old twins!! They will both be in Stillwater this Fall!! Go Pokes!!🧡🖤 Beau will be starting his first year at Meridian Tech. Reese will be a sophomore at OSU! We have two fur babies. Baxter is our 15 pound Silky Terrier and Rocky is our 150 pound Great Dane. I love hanging out with my kids and their friends!! Short about me: I am going into my third year of teaching at Catalayah. I have four children: Aryah (a CHS Graduate), Caden (a junior at CHS), Noah (a first grader at Catalayah), and Stella (A kindergartner at Catalayah). 🦓❤️STAFF SPOTLIGHT! ❤️🦓 Mrs. Titsworth, GT Teacher •Favorite food: Steak , shrimp, chef salad, and Mexican •Favorite Color: Red and Green are perennial favs. Right now I’m also loving teal/aqua and pink •Drink: Pepsi, hands down! •Birthday: September 3 •Hobby: Reading, writing, photography, and genealogy •How do you spend your summer: A great summer includes a trip to the beach and seeing my grandbabies 🥰 I enjoyed a beach trip with my mom, daughter, sister, and niece in early June and my out-of-state daughter and her family are flying in from Alaska (where they are stationed with the US Army) at the end of the month. I’m a happy girl! This fall I’ll begin my 3rd year at Catalayah, which I love. My GT position is shared with Westside and I’ve taught there for 20 (wow! Must have begun my career at age 10! LOL) years. My husband is Scottie, he was my high school sweetheart and we’ve been married 34 years. We have 3 grown children, Edie, Dorie, and Eric. Here are a few crazy facts about me…eating onion dip by itself is a guilty pleasure, I’m terrible about making messes, crazy about my family, and am afraid of monkeys (even though, or perhaps because, I’m named after one). My dream career would have been country singing star, but I’m thrilled that my calling was to be a teacher. ❤️

🦓❤️STAFF SPOTLIGHT! ❤️🦓 Mrs. Haltmar, 2nd grade teacher •Favorite food: Sushi •Favorite Color: Yellow •Drink: Dr pepper •Birthday: December 12th •Hobby: Tennis, working out, and hiking •How do you spend your summer: I love to spend my summer with my family going on as many adventures as possible! Whether that is hiking, traveling to new places, or just trying new restaurants I love to be spontaneous and try new things. I was born in Indiana and moved to Texas when I was starting high school. I went to The University of North Texas in Denton where I met my husband Anthony! I have two kids a 4 year old girl named Hazel and a 2 year old boy named Hudson! My family and I have now lived in Claremore for almost 2 years! This will be my first year at Catalayah and I couldn’t be more excited to be apart of this team! 🦓❤️ STAFF SPOTLIGHT ❤️🦓 Mrs. Griffin, paraprofessional •Favorite food: seafood, mainly shrimp, but I like all kinds of seafood. •Favorite Color: turquoise blue •Drink: Dr. Pepper •Birthday: December 11 •Hobby: photography, travel, hiking, playing music •How do you spend your summer: We usually try to take a vacation to somewhere we have never been or go to the beach. We also spend a little time in Alabama with family, and the rest of the summer, you can usually find my family and me in our pool or spending time with friends. I also play clarinet every summer in the Claremore Civic Band! Our concerts are held at Gazebo park every other Thursday through the end of July! My husband and I just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. We have four children--Ethan(10) and Madelyn(8), plus my bonus kiddos, Tyler(18) and Samantha(20). We also have a labradoodle, named Koda! My husband and I moved here from Tennessee just a few months after getting married, so you may notice a slight😉 southern accent. I grew up in Alabama and I am a huge Alabama football fan! Roll Tide! My favorite thing in the world is to travel to places I have never been. I have a goal to visit every state in the United States, and also every state park in Oklahoma! I play golf when I can and enjoy taking care of my yard My wife Nicole and I have 2 girls and we just recently became grandparents!! Abbey is going to be a jr at OSU and Kailea just had our first grandson, Jameson! I have been the School Resources Officers for Claremore Public School Elementaries for the last 3 years. This really is the perfect job for me, I’m basically a giant child. I love being able to interact with students and staff and help where I can! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
