✨ Thankful Thursday Spotlight ✨ We are loving Thankful Thursdays so much that we’re keeping them going through December! This week, we want to shine a bright spotlight on Ms. Amber, our incredible custodian here at Catalayah Elementary! ❤️🖤 Ms. Amber is truly one of a kind. She works tirelessly every single day to keep our school looking its best, and she does it all with the biggest smile on her face! 🌟 Her positive energy is absolutely contagious, and she always takes time to greet students and staff with kindness and warmth. Whether it’s tackling the toughest messes or going the extra mile to make our spaces shine, she does it all with heart and dedication. Ms. Amber, we appreciate you more than words can say! This week Mrs. Haltom's 2nd grade class has been learning about the Arctic and Antarctic and the animals that live there! They presented their animal reports to the class! Students paired up and researched an Arctic animal to share about! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Earlier this week, we missed recognizing an incredibly important day—National Special Education Day! At Catalayah, we are beyond grateful for our amazing special education team. These incredible ladies are the definition of patience, kindness, and dedication. Christmas in the Cafe!! Over the break our amazing Mary in the cafeteria came and decorated for our students and staff. How cute is that?! The kids loved seeing it when they came back!!! 5th grade finished reading “Blood on the River.” Each student completed a diorama or replica of their favorite scene from the book. It was so fun to see each of there projects!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
