The following was sent out in an email to staff and our student's parents/guardians this evening, March 11, 2024.
Zebra family:
During tonight’s regular meeting, the Claremore Public Schools Board of Education approved the district-recommended calendar for the 2024-25 school year. A committee of school representatives developed the calendar with input from teachers, administrators, and parents. Our team worked diligently to ensure it would optimize student learning while accommodating the needs of the families we serve.
Even though Zebra staff and students are still working hard to finish the current school year strong, we know it is helpful to families to have next year’s calendar as soon as possible. Please keep the 2024-25 dates in mind as you plan future family commitments, appointments and adventures. Student attendance at school is essential. We miss them – and they miss out – when they are gone.
Here are a few highlights from the 2024-25 calendar:
First Day of School: August 20, 2024
Last Day of School: May 23, 2025

Early Release Days (PLC):
The district will begin early Friday dismissals on August 30, 2024, to allow teachers more time to collaborate and explore student resources with their Professional Learning Community (PLC). They will continue every Friday through the end of the school year.
While we do not anticipate changes to the calendar, please know that the district will regularly communicate with families about revisions or adjustments that may be required. If you have any questions about the calendar, you are welcome to contact your child’s school office.
Thank you for your support of Claremore Public Schools. This year, next year and every year, we are thrilled to serve the families of this great community.
Sincerely,
Bryan Frazier
