FRESHMAN ORIENTATION: Claremore High School annual freshman orientation program will be Friday - August 9th from 8:30 AM - 12PM. This program introduces students to the high school campus with tours of the facilities, a variety of team building activities and all things that instill #CPSZEBRAPRIDE .
The event is staffed by CHS administrators, teachers, and FUZE mentors (juniors and seniors). The morning will start with a brief parent meeting that will introduce you to staff, new policies, and procedures. Following this meeting, the #CHSClassof2023 will be paired with FUZE mentors in small groups for the daily activities. The mentors will also work to connect with the students throughout the year as they navigate the various success, challenges, and experience this new year will bring.
“Freshman orientation was designed to connect students with the people, places, and information they need to be successful in high school,” said CHS Principal - Kerri Garroutte. “Our hope is that participation in orientation will help students feel at home so they may grow personally and academically.”
To lay the groundwork for a successful 2019-20 high school year, incoming CHS freshmen are encouraged to attend this orientation.
